Heading up the Watkin Path

The waterfalls of the Afon Cwm Llan

The Watkin Path follows the course of the Afon Cwm Llan , high above is Y Lliwedd

Leaving the Watkin path the route heads up towards Yr Aran above

View across Cwm Llan to the summit of Snowdon

And to the right is the huge mass of Y Lliwedd

Moments later clouds sweep in to smother the summits

Panning right reveals the route of ascent up Cwm Llan with Llyn Gwynant down below

The clouds clear momentarily to reveal Snowdon's summit & the ridge to Y Lliwedd

While on the summit a helicopter has swooped by and dropped a flare

The helicopter then attempts to land on the summit nearly blowing me off the ridge in the process , cheers !

After hovering over the summit a while the helicopter moves away , Cnicht & the Moelwyns provide the backdrop
