Burneside to Windermere

Packing the tents away at the Kendal camp site

To the left is the River Kent , formed in the South Eatern Lakeland Mountains

Some sheep cause a temporary pause in proceedings

There's still time for a tea stop though


On School Knott which provides a fine view over Windermere and the Cumbrian mountains


At the end of the Dale's way , marked by the black plate to the right


With the walk over it's time for a break in Windermere
