The Dales Way - Day 3

Kettlewell to Oughtershaw

DATE : 26th May 2008

It's Bank Holiday Monday in Kettlewell and there's a Festival in the village today

But we've got more pressing issues to attend to and it's back on the trail

Some dodgy singing by Laurence is keeping Shaun amused

Thankfully it doesn't last

The scenary in Wharfedale is getting quite spectacular now

Crossing a narrow bridge

There's a strong cold wind today so lunch is taken in a sheltered spot

And we're away again

Ahead is the huge bulk of Buckden Pike

We're high up in Langstrothdale

The path is on rough limestone which requires assistance from a couple of pullers

Tonight's accomodation is at Dent

Elizabeth demonstrating a cure for 'tired eyes'

The day ends with a spectacular sunset
