Stone Arthur and Seat Sandal from Underhelm

Helm Crag from Easedale

The sun breaks through to light up Far Easedale

View south from Helm Crag to Grasmere & Loughrigg Fell

Patch of sunlight at the foot of Stone Arthur

Seat Sandal & Fairfield

Close up of Grasmere ( Oh , and some sheep )

The closest we get to a sunset tonight , some orange clouds above the Helvellyn range

The same view the following morning and there is still plenty of cloud around

My tent pitch with the pass of Dunmail Raise in the background

The sun bursts over the A591 down below

Close up of the brightly lit area

Steel Fell

To the west is Easedale

Close up of Easedale Tarn & Blea Rigg with the Langdale Pikes at the back

The continuation of the ridge to Gibson Knott & Calf Crag

Helm Crag summit , the 'Howitzer' with a gloomy looking Dunmail Raise in the background

And the other rocky feature on Helm Crag summit , the Lion & the Lamb

The lowering cloud moves across to cover Seat Sandal's summit now

There's brighter conditions over the Coniston Fells

Heading across to the col between Helm Crag & Gibson Knott

On the descent to Helmside there is a fine view to Steel Fell

Heading down towards Green Burn
