 Heading along Mosedale after the start from Cockley bridge

 The route ahead up to Pike de Bield with Bowfell to the right
 Lingcove Beck skirts it's way around the base of Crinkle Crags to join the river Esk further down
 Pike de Bield provides an excellent vantage point for the Scafell range
 On Esk Pike now with the view north to Allen Crags & Glaramara
 And to the west are l-r Great End , Great & Green Gables and Grasmoor in the distance

 Angle Tarn , Rosset Pike & the Langdale Pikes from the descent to Ore Gap which seperates Esk Pike from Bowfell
